In the wake of the 2011 Arab uprisings there have been many new developments in the Gulf region, with new actors and issues coming into play, all of whom have independent and often conflicting political ambitions and goals. This conference will explore the multidimensional aspects of energy policies and discuss the obstacles of strategic partnerships in the Gulf Region, given these new actors in the political sphere.
