The Institute for Gulf Affairs has led US media in exposing the history behind the intolerant and shocking material found in textbooks used at the Islamic Saudi Academy in Virginia, and in Saudi Arabia itself. IGA acquired these books through sources in Saudi Arabia, and provided access to them by various Western news outlets, including the New York Times, Reuters, and the Washington Post:

In addition, IGA Director Ali Al-Ahmed has been featured on CBS and CNN news in discussions of this issue. As an example of the material, a first grade textbook on Monotheism and Islamic Jurisprudence has the following insights and assignments for students:
"Every religion other than Islam is false".
"Fill in the blanks with the appropriate words (Islam, hellfire): Every religion other than _____ is false. Whoever dies outside of Islam enters ____".
"Give examples of false religions, like Judaism, Christianity, paganism, etc".
"Explain that when someone dies outside of Islam, hellfire is his fate".
Another textbook, a tenth grade work on the Hadith and Islamic Culture, indulges in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories:
"Destructive Movements that Zionism has used to achieve its aims.
Freemasonry. This is a secret Jewish organization that works surreptitiously to advance larger Jewish interests. Masonry is a deceptive word that fools listeners into thinking that it is a noble profession, since it means "free builders" and its slogan is "freedom, brotherhood, and equality".
B'nai B'rith, or sons of the covenant. This group was founded in 1834 in America.
International Lions Clubs. "Lions" means lions. These are Masonic clubs based in America and they have secret agents all over the world.
Rotary Clubs. They were founded in 1905 in Chicago, America, and then spread all over the world”.
These books were obtained through great difficulty from Saudi Arabia, and can only be found in the United States through IGA. In anticipation of acquiring new textbooks, IGA would like to sell the books that we currently possess to any interested party. IGA has over 300 textbooks, largely concerned with Religious studies and History, but also some basic Arabic books as well as some Science textbooks. In addition to their great value to researchers, these books would also be useful in learning Arabic at the beginner’s level.
The books are priced at $20 per book, while being open to negotiations. If you would like to learn more about these, please contact us through the information on our website.
